Top left the Salford lads club, the young teddy boys and behind Sankey Soaps which is now a Manchester famous night club and in contrast with the new Salford Quays, boats and bridges. Robert Peel was Prime Minister of this country 1834-1835 and 1841-1846 he was quoted of saying “No Minister ever stood or could stand against public opinion”
